Dave Johnson is a Senior Engineer and has more than 30 years of engineering experience in naval nuclear propulsion systems, commercial nuclear facility oversight, DOE facility safety analysis and oversight, and civil litigation assistance. In the naval nuclear submarine program, for fourteen years he managed teams of technicians and engineers performing maintenance and startup performance testing on nuclear submarine reactor and auxiliary systems. For seven years, Mr. Johnson was a NRC resident inspector. During this period, he conducted licensing, safety and regulatory compliance reviews at several commercial nuclear facility installations. For the Department of Energy he assisted in the development of facility safety analysis and performed several safety performance assessments and inspections. For the last four years he has been involved in a litigation that includes regulatory documentation and historical facility documentation research to prepare expert witness testimony for civil litigation. Mr. Johnson received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska.
