Joe Ellis has over forty years in the field of security, including 21 years in U.S. Air Force security and over twenty years in commercial nuclear security. Mr. Ellis has been a security supervisor at Yankee Rowe Nuclear Station and Seabrook Nuclear Station, in addition to parallel duties as emergency preparedness response manager and site services manager at Seabrook during his tenure at that station.
Joe has directed day-to-day security operations at two nuclear stations. He has wide experience in the preparation and implementation of security, contingency and training plans designed to successfully meet NRC standards. He oversaw the preparation of the plans at Seabrook Station during their licensing process and authored the procedures to implement them. He also initiated the station drug testing program and implemented the access control, security clearance and safeguards information programs at Seabrook Station.
